PASADENA, CA – September 16th, 2019 – Resurgent Capital Partners (Resurgent), a leading operations-focused lower middle market private equity firm, today announced it has acquired Unified Dispatch LLC (“UDI”), a provider of telephony solutions, from Transdev North America.
Founded in 2005, UDI has been a long-time leading provider of telephony solutions to the ground transportation industry. Transdev acquired the company in 2011 to capitalize on its ground transportation expertise in telephony and scheduling integration. A shift in strategy at Transdev resulted in UDI no longer being a fit. Transdev chose to work with Resurgent due to its expertise in software, telephony and corporate divestitures.
